We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our technology consulting team in Dublin. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in delivering presentations and proposals for medium to complex projects.
  • Create high-quality deliverables and act as a subject matter expert on cloud platform engineering.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client service offerings and improve cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across various consulting services to drive innovation.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members in their professional growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously enhance technical skills.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Python, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and configurations.
  • Experience with code quality analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation.
  • Expertise in Linux/Windows administration with scripting capability in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, code repositories, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience in application load balancing solutions for scalability and high availability.
  • Associate or Expert level certifications in Microsoft, AWS, GCP, or IBM Cloud.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to cloud-hosted platforms and environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications in cloud computing.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean, TDD, CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Workflow management using Agile collaboration tools.
  • Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Cloud Security
  • Networking and Load Balancing
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
  • Configuration as Code and Automation
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting
  • Patch Management
  • Cloud-native development
