A leading organisation is seeking an FP&A Business Partner to support financial strategy, cost analysis, and operational efficiencies. This role will work closely with senior management to drive performance and optimise business growth. It offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape financial planning and analysis within the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly financial forecasts, including budget reconciliations and supporting analysis.
• Analyse departmental financial results and key performance indicators, preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with senior leadership and finance teams.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimise performance and achieve targets.
• Present business case studies to senior leadership for capital expenditure support.
• Standardise month-end reporting and FP&A activities, ensuring efficient data management.
• Act as the finance lead on ad hoc projects.
• Drive process improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, or Essbase.
• Knowledge of the transport or automotive sectors is an advantage.

Educational Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
