Head of Information Technology

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead and drive the IT function within their organisation during a period of growth and transformation. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of the company's IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring a high level of performance and professional development.
• Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security across all systems.
• Budget Management: Manage and allocate the IT department’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the organisation’s IT systems are secure, compliant with industry standards, and protected against potential threats.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and technology solutions are cost-effective and efficient.
• Project Management: Oversee and deliver on IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the business's technological requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (e.g., Head of IT, IT Director, CTO).
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, cloud solutions, and enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
