Our leading Financial Services client is currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with our strategic goals. This is a daily rate contract role based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, goals, and budgets, identifying resources needed.
- Plan, manage, and communicate timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure technical feasibility and the use of best practices and standards in all projects.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including scope and change management.
- Ensure that projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure that all cloud infrastructure (AWS) meets the necessary security and compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, virtualization, cloud technologies, and data centers.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
