Project Manager

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a PMO team supporting the delivery of a strategic onboarding implementation project. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can quickly become productive, managing both business and technical workstreams while ensuring compliance with established project governance frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in business and IT project delivery.
• Ability to quickly adapt to existing project management and governance standards.
• Proven experience in managing large and complex business and IT projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Project Management and Application Delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Deep understanding of project management functions and required artefacts.
• Financial Services or Asset Management experience is highly desirable.
• Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Scope & Risk Management: Define project scope, identify dependencies, constraints, risks, and proactively manage the critical path.
• Resource & Team Management: Assemble, coordinate, and oversee project resources and tasks.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all project documentation and reporting align with PMO governance standards.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage project budget, reporting on financials as needed.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, governance bodies, and senior leadership.
• Quality Assurance & Closure: Ensure high-quality project execution, including post-project review and benefits realisation.
