QA Analyst

An experienced Test Analyst is required to join a QA Test Team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable and proven recent test experience within the Financial Services industry. This role operates in a hybrid model, combining office-based and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structured test plans based on functional requirements.
• Create comprehensive test cases for various testing types, including System, UAT, Integration, Regression, and Service-Oriented Testing (manual and automated).
• Manage and prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects with tight deadlines, coordinating cross-team collaboration.
• Operate efficiently in an Agile environment, setting realistic and achievable project plans and timelines.
• Deliver QA objectives and targets successfully in a remote working setup.

Technical Competencies:

• At least 5 years of experience in QA and software testing.
• Proven experience in testing within the Financial Services industry (Life and Pensions sector preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Testing.
• Proficiency in interrogating SQL server databases, with the ability to develop SQL queries.
• Familiarity with bug and issue management tools relevant to this role.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Exposure to Cloud-Based Testing and Testing AI is an advantage.
