Role: Business Analyst
Location: Leeds, on site 2x per week

This client is looking to bring in a Business Analyst to drive technology-led transformation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working on high-impact projects that shape the future of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders, uncovering explicit and implicit business needs.
• Analyse and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Develop clear and actionable business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, IT, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless requirement implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to align on solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet business needs and drive improvements based on data insights.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements, including functional and non-functional specifications.
• Experience in business process modelling and documentation.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and business process mapping software.

Experience:

• c.5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in a tech-focused environment.
• Track record of delivering complex technology projects from inception to implementation.
• Experience with Miro or Visio for process mapping and visual documentation.
• Experience in breaking down work into epics, features, and user stories.
