Job Title:Contract Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Location: Remote
Rate: Up to €390 per day
Duration: 6 months (Strong chance of renewal)

Would you be interested in representing one of the top AWS Distributors in the UK to help one of their FSI customers with their AWS journey?

We are currently seeking multiple highly skilled DevOps Engineers with expertise across various AWS and Terraform. The end client has an extremely large AWS presence, and use a wide variety of AWS resources

You will be part of a team running an internal developer platform focused of 'shift-left' for security and risk controls, using policy-as-code (Rego code language) for the creation of the policy rules.

Additional responsibilities include:

-Building out a capability in 'One Policy Engine' (Rego Code)
-Updating the central CI/CD 'gate' so that it integrates with various service
-Contribute by working with the team leads to look into different solutions that could be applied
-Process automation work using Python

Must haves:
-AWS or Azure
-Terraform
-CI/CD
-Ability to code Object Oriented, not just script
-GitLab
-Great communication skills

Desirable:
-Experience with Python/Golang/JavaScript, or similar OO languages.
-Policy as Code (Open Policy Agents / Rego Code)
