Job Title: PMO Manager

Location: Remote with occasional UK travel

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000

Fruition are working with an organisation who play a crucial role in the healthcare industry. The organisation is looking to expand their transformation team with an PMO. This permanent, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for a forward-thinking organisation. PMO Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and tracking of public sector projects.
  • Lead and mentor project managers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on project performance, risks, and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Ensure the integration of governance, quality control, and risk management into all project phases.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term project strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

PMO Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager or in a similar project management leadership role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of project governance, budgeting, and risk management practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) are desirable.
