The Fruition Group is delighted to be retained on an exclusive search with a global cybersecurity client, hiring an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead and expand their sales team in the US Northeast.

This is a high-impact leadership role suited for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in the IT infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity space, who can lead by example and deliver aggressive growth targets.

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for delivering aggressive revenue growth within a defined territory by directly managing a team of Account Managers and Sales Engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and personal engagement with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, adhering to and reinforcing ethical business conduct and company values.
  • Execute company vision and sales strategy as directed by executive leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and prospect relationships through direct engagement-this is a player-coach role with active client involvement.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals including Account Managers and Sales Engineers.
  • Assess team performance and apply ongoing coaching, support, and corrective actions as needed to ensure excellence.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to define individual account plans, performance goals, and strategic direction.
  • Foster strong internal communication across sales, marketing, and technical functions to align regional objectives with corporate goals.
  • Work closely with peer sales leaders across other regions to present a unified and consistent client experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance regional sales tactics, structures, and coverage models to improve results.
  • Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset and promote a strong team culture.
  • Travel regularly within the region and occasionally outside of it, as needed.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in direct enterprise sales within Cybersecurity or Observability solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing sales teams and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Experienced in setting forecasts and delivering against aggressive sales targets.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, team development, and effective resource allocation.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and growing a sales territory.
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with key enterprise clients and stakeholders.
  • Skilled at positioning complex solutions and communicating value to executive-level audiences.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and organizational abilities.
  • New York Metro based.

Package / Offer:

  • Base Salary : Negotiable
  • OTE : 50/50 Uncapped
