Job Title: Senior Project Support Officer (PSO)

Location: Remote with occasional UK travel

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Project Support Officer Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and budgets are adhered to.
  • Support project managers in planning, monitoring, and reporting project progress.
  • Prepare project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and actions, escalating when necessary.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and manage stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain project files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Assist with the administration of project management tools and software.

Project Support Officer Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a project support or administrative role, ideally within the public sector or similar regulated environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of project management processes and methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • Proficient in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
