Our client is a recognised and reputable cybersecurity vendor, providing a wide portfolio of products to Strategic, Enterprise, Commercial and Public Sector customers globally.

After a record breaking year, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to their DACH team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and technical presales expert, representing the company to customers,
  • Assist sales teams and partners in designing optimal architectures for customer deployments,
  • Gather and relay customer requirements to Product Management, ensuring regional needs are effectively represented,
  • Define and drive the technical strategy for solutions, aligning sales efforts with business objectives,
  • Work closely with Project Management to support project goals, timelines, and deliverables,
  • Provide technical guidance and training to partners and clients on solution implementation and maintenance,
  • Promote best practices in security policy management, educating both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of risk, governance, audit, and compliance controls in cybersecurity,
  • Proven success in winning competitive POCs and influencing technical decision-making,
  • Team player with a high level of integrity and a collaborative approach,
  • 5+ years of presales experience in enterprise technology sales,
  • Strong technical knowledge of Network Security and/or Cybersecurity solutions,
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field,
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to develop complex, integrated cybersecurity solutions,
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites for presentations and solution proposals,
  • Strong pipeline qualification and prioritization skills to maintain sales predictability,
  • Confident in engaging with executive stakeholders, both internally and externally,
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud solutions,
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions while selling the vision and long-term journey to customers-salesmanship is key!
  • Fluent in German (spoken & written) and excellent English communication skills.

Package / Offer:

  • Fixed Salary : € 130,000 - € 160,000 (depending on experience)
  • OTE : € 162,500 - € 200,000

  • Remote Working
